The Osage Police Department works with the Salvation Army to provide assistance to those in need in Mitchell County.  Those assisted must fall within the Salvation Army Voucher Guidelines

Types of assistance include:
    *    Groceries/Meals
    *    Utilities/Rent
    *    Lodging
    *    Transportation (Gas)
    *    Special Projects   

Red Kettle Campaign

The money used in Mitchell County is gathered by the Red Kettle Campaign held each year during the holiday season.  Kettles have been set up in the past at the Osage Rotary Sock Sale in November, Larsen's Food Pride in December and counter top kettles at local businesses.  All money donated stays in Mitchell County.  We are always looking for more volunteers to ring the bell so please do not hesitate to contact the Osage Police Department.
